Cleaning house

Cleaning house, inside and out.
Down there, on the ground, beside the bush
next to the board that separates the concrete
sweep it vigorously, the dirt resists cleaning.
Some vestiges, some memories,
identities.
Places i have been, the man i thought i was
When i look more closely, it's dirty, it's musty,
it needs to be swept clean.
Not that it is bad, not that it is good,
it just needs
cleaning.
